When faculty members had questions about using Canvas, long, text-heavy instruction manuals usually just got in the way. I built a central, self-paced video library filled with quick, step-by-step tutorials so teachers can get instant visual answers and master Canvas at their own speed.
New Hire Onboarding Course
A Structured Launchpad for Our Growing Team
To replace a scattered, inconsistent training process, we scaled my faculty video hub into a comprehensive onboarding academy. This structured training path ensures that every incoming team member—from junior designers to senior staff—gets the exact same high-quality foundation from day one.

Many of my colleagues used to avoid using code when building Canvas pages. To bridge this skills gap, I co-hosted a beginner-friendly workshop that took the mystery out of HTML, giving our team the confidence to look at code, understand it, and fix broken pages by the end of the session.

Back by popular demand, this advanced workshop showed the team how HTML and CSS work together to create beautiful layouts. Instead of starting from a blank screen, attendees used pre-made visual assets to design a fully customized Canvas homepage from scratch.

This interactive booth proved that course layout isn't just about decorations—it directly impacts a student's brain power. Using real-world "Before and After" course page layout examples, we showed our team exactly how bad design confuses students and how simple structural fixes save mental energy.

Our team is incredibly dedicated to their work, but coworkers often put their own well-being on the back burner. We designed a holistic booth focused on Mental, Physical, and Digital workspace health, teaching colleagues low-stress, 1-minute desk exercises and quick habits to beat burnout.
